Album Notes & Community Reviews

The stunning debut album from the revolutionary drummer, recorded when he was just 18 years old. The music is abstract and free, emphasizing texture, space, and pure rhythmic invention. It established the drums as a lead instrument capable of directing the musical conversation in a completely new way, showcasing Williams not just as a prodigious percussionist but as a sophisticated composer.
