Album Notes & Community Reviews
Faithfully resurrecting the politically charged, polyrhythmic funk of 1970s Nigeria, 'Talkatif' is an energetic masterclass in modern Afrobeat. The massive Brooklyn ensemble delivers blistering horn arrangements and fierce protest lyricism that keep the genre's deeply conscious roots alive.
