Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following a brief, tumultuous stint on a major label, the Scottish duo retreated to familiar independent territory to deliver this brutally honest documentation of romantic decay. Aidan Moffat's trademark spoken-word delivery recounts intimate, apathetic relationship details over increasingly sophisticated, melancholic drum machine and acoustic guitar arrangements.
