Album Notes & Community Reviews

Named after a famous Glasgow pub, the Scottish duo's fifth album expands their typically dour acoustic soundscapes with remarkably lush, string-laden arrangements. Aidan Moffat's spoken-word, heavily accented vocal deliveries continue to unflinchingly dissect the miserable realities of failed romance and alcohol-fueled regret.
