Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Scottish duo refined their miserable, alcohol-soaked narratives with much richer, orchestral instrumentation on their fourth studio album. Aidan Moffat's spoken-word tales of sexual dysfunction and romantic regret are framed by beautiful string arrangements and subtle electronic beats, elevating their slowcore sound to new cinematic heights.
