Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Scottish duo debuted with an incredibly intimate, starkly unromantic documentation of weekend debauchery and decaying relationships. Aidan Moffat's heavily accented, conversational spoken-word delivery recounts bleak, hyper-specific narratives over incredibly sparse drum machines and lo-fi acoustic strumming. The brutally honest, slightly uncomfortable realism firmly established them as unique, crucial voices within the Glasgow indie scene.
