Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived and written during frontman Kjetil Nernes' harrowing battle with throat cancer, the album is a triumphant, theatrical confrontation with mortality. The band's punishing noise-rock is augmented with grand gothic flourishes, pianos, and a pervasive sense of biblical doom.
