Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as the soundtrack for a culturally significant theatrical show directed by Herm铆nio Bello de Carvalho, 'Rosa de ouro' helped resurrect the careers of veteran samba singers. The recording stands as a crucial preservation of authentic, root-level Afro-Brazilian rhythms, deeply contrasting with the polished bossa nova dominating the era.
