XXXXX

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Venezuelan producer Arca marks a defiant milestone with 'XXXXX', a sprawling sixteen-track record that acts as her first full-length offering since her multi-part series. The project delves into a darker, hyper-kinetic sonic palette, seamlessly welding the abrasive textures of deconstructed club with complex IDM sequencing and glitch-heavy sound design. Weaving together multi-lingual code-mixing, provocative themes, and fluid vocal expressions, the work provides an uncompromisingly futuristic and avant-garde exploration of identity.
