Album Notes & Community Reviews

With 'AM', Arctic Monkeys conquered America by embracing a slick, nocturnal sound inspired by G-funk and Black Sabbath. Built on heavy, hip-hop-influenced grooves and Alex Turner's crooning vocals, the album is a stylish collection of leather-jacket rock and roll. Tracks like 'Do I Wanna Know?' became instant anthems, marking the band's most commercially successful and iconic era.
