Recorded largely at a converted monastery in rural Suffolk, the band's seventh studio album completely abandons their traditional indie rock roots in favor of lush, orchestral lounge pop. The cinematic, string-drenched arrangements score deeply cryptic, observational lyrics that evoke the atmosphere of vintage European espionage films.
