Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded alone on a cassette multi-track machine, Ariel Pink's wildly prolific early output laid the absolute foundation for the hypnagogic pop movement. This lo-fi collection filters bizarre, 1980s radio-pop pastiches and glam-rock theatricality through layers of tape hiss and manic, eccentric vocal performances, creating a beautifully degraded sonic funhouse.
