Album Notes & Community Reviews
The quintessential folk troubadour continued his exploration of Americana on this impeccably produced, gently eclectic release. Featuring his acclaimed rendition of the traditional standard 'Gypsy Davy', the album surrounds Guthrie's warm, conversational vocals with lush acoustic guitars, subtle orchestration, and hints of ragtime and country-rock. It is a beautiful, highly comforting snapshot of the deeply nostalgic 1970s singer-songwriter movement.
