Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Paraffin', Armand Hammer crafts a disorienting and claustrophobic soundscape built from smoggy, jazz-inflected loops, corrosive feedback, and abrupt, psychedelic beat switches. Over this cacophonous production, rappers billy woods and ELUCID deliver dense, abstract, and politically charged verses with a relentless force, exploring themes of systemic decay, paranoia, and the grim realities of modern America. The result is a dark and visceral artistic statement, where the fragmented, challenging production directly mirrors the cryptic and unflinching lyricism.
