Armand Hammer

Biography

Armand Hammer is a New York-based hip hop duo formed in 2013 by rappers Billy Woods and Elucid. The group is defined by its experimental production and dense, abstract lyricism that explores themes of race, power, and fragmented urban life. Their work is characterized by unorthodox rhyme schemes, literary allusions, and a potent critique of societal structures, often set against textured, off-kilter instrumentals. Having released a series of critically acclaimed albums, including collaborations with *The Alchemist*, Armand Hammer has solidified its position as a central and uncompromising force in underground and avant-garde hip hop.
