Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded shortly after a devastating psychiatric institutionalization and suicide attempt, the former Os Mutantes mastermind delivered a profoundly fragile, lo-fi solo statement. Playing all instruments himself, Baptista wove Beatlesque melodies and raw, melancholic piano ballads detailing profound isolation and heartbreak. Originally released on the independent Baratos Afins label, it stands as a tragically beautiful, deeply intimate outsider pop masterpiece.
