Moving further away from their strictly acoustic, Zeuhl-adjacent origins, the French avant-garde ensemble heavily integrated early analog synthesizers and samplers into this deeply unsettling suite. 'Les espaces inquiets' weaves aggressive, staccato string arrangements and blaring brass with chilling electronic textures, conjuring a tense, cinematic atmosphere. The challenging compositions highlight their masterful ability to blend contemporary classical dissonance with the rhythmic intensity of progressive rock.
