Album Notes & Community Reviews

Centered around its immensely popular title track, 'Yellow Bird' exemplifies the peak of the mid-century Hawaiian Exotica craze. Vibraphonist Arthur Lyman layers soothing tropical melodies with faux-jungle bird calls and light Latin percussion, creating an immersive, highly stylized escapist fantasy.
