Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving nearly 35 years after his legendary self-titled debut, 'Encore' represents a magnificent return to form for the Brazilian arranger and composer. The album seamlessly blends intricate samba-jazz rhythms with lush, cinematic string orchestrations, echoing his foundational 1970s work. Warm and highly poetic, the record successfully bridged his classic MPB sound with a new generation of listeners[cite: 4].
