Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reintroducing the supergroup with a heavily revised lineup centered around keyboardist Geoff Downes and vocalist John Payne, this album attempts to modernize their stadium-ready sound. 'Aqua' heavily leans into polished AOR melodies and epic, symphonic textures, moving further away from their progressive rock origins. Despite a rotating cast of guest guitarists, the release struggled to find a foothold in the rapidly changing musical landscape of the early 90s.
