Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging as a fiercely political force within the UK electronic underground, Asian Dub Foundation unleashes a wildly kinetic, cross-cultural debut. 'Facts and Fictions' heavily layers rapid-fire hip-hop and jungle breakbeats directly over deep reggae dubscapes and traditional South Asian instrumentation. The album's highly conscious lyricism passionately confronts institutional racism and anti-immigrant sentiment within 1990s Britain.
