Album Notes & Community Reviews

Centered around a brilliant re-recording of the composer's most famous and emotionally resonant piece, this album is a definitive masterclass in the Nuevo Tango style. By fearlessly incorporating elements of classical fugue and jazz harmony into traditional Argentine dance rhythms, the bandoneon virtuoso permanently elevated the genre into the realm of high-art chamber music.
