Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded with his string-heavy Octeto Buenos Aires, this avant-garde project effectively dismantled and reconstructed traditional tango structures using advanced chromaticism and jazz-influenced dissonance. The provocative arrangements sparked intense cultural debate in Argentina while laying the definitive groundwork for the tango nuevo movement.
