Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Creed Taylor, this elegant session pairs the ethereal, whispering vocals of Astrud Gilberto with the muscular, soulful saxophone of Stanley Turrentine. The CTI label's signature lush orchestration, arranged by Deodato, provides a warm, sensual backdrop for their compelling stylistic contrast. It stands as a brilliant example of early-seventies crossover bossa nova.
