Album Notes & Community Reviews

'I Haven't Got Anything Better to Do' presents Astrud Gilberto in a restrained, autumnal setting far removed from the bright novelty of her early bossa nova fame. The arrangements emphasize quiet orchestration, intimate pacing, and standards-oriented interpretation. It has often been singled out by listeners who prefer her more melancholic and atmospheric recordings.
