Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arranged and conducted by jazz master Gil Evans, 'Look to the Rainbow' surrounds the delicate, whispering vocal style of Astrud Gilberto with lush, expansive orchestrations. The collaboration stretches the boundaries of standard bossa nova, bringing cinematic brass and woodwind textures to traditional Brazilian rhythms. It highlights her evolution as a compelling solo interpreter following her initial explosion into international fame.
