Album Notes & Community Reviews

True to their name, this virtuosic collective successfully bridged the complex jazz improvisations of the American scene with the heavy, progressive rock aesthetics of the UK.[cite: 1] The entirely instrumental tracks are driven by scorching brass interplay, blistering guitar work, and an unyielding rhythm section.[cite: 1] It remains a stellar, highly intense document of the burgeoning European jazz-fusion movement.[cite: 1]
