Expanding their political, feminist post-punk into a broader palette incorporating jazz, funk, and extensive brass, 'Sense and Sensuality' is a dense and ambitious sophomore effort. The complex, groove-oriented arrangements unfortunately coincided with the band's deteriorating internal dynamics, leading to their premature dissolution shortly after its release.
