Produced by Ivan Duran and recorded at Stonetree Studios in Benque Viejo del Carmen, Belize, with additional sessions in Honduras, its 12 tracks take their title from the Garifuna word for landing. The songs, by Aurelio and his mother Maria alongside traditional tunes, return to the paranda gatherings of his home village Plaplaya, and the album placed third on the Sunday Times list of the ten best world music albums of its year and in the fRoots Critics' Poll.
