Album Notes & Community Reviews

Masterminded by Edguy frontman Tobias Sammet, this ambitious supergroup project united a massive roster of legendary European power metal vocalists, including Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen. 'The Metal Opera' weaves a sprawling, theatrical fantasy narrative dripping with infectious choruses, dual-guitar harmonies, and relentless double-bass drumming. It revitalized the concept of the grand rock opera within the modern European heavy metal scene.
