Zenzealia

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Zenzealia' marks a stark sonic departure for Azealia Banks, presenting a collection of spoken-word guided meditations rather than a traditional musical album. The work focuses on themes of spirituality and finding zen, characterized by a complete lack of melody or discernible song production. This release followed a multi-year hiatus and subverted listener expectations for a return to her established sound.
