Album Notes & Community Reviews
The massive, highly ambitious Latin rock ensemble led by the Escovedo brothers returned with a second, deeply complex fusion masterpiece. Featuring an astonishing fifteen members鈥攊ncluding future Journey guitarist Neal Schon鈥攖he album combines incredibly dense, polyrhythmic Afro-Cuban percussion with blazing brass sections and blistering jazz-rock improvisation. It stands as a formidable, highly technical evolution of the blueprint originally established by early Santana.
