Album Notes & Community Reviews

Teaming up with The Crusaders' keyboardist Joe Sample, B.B. King integrated sleek funk and soul elements into his traditional electric blues foundation. The collaboration modernized his sound, resulting in a highly rhythmic and commercially successful venture that retained his signature stinging guitar work. The album demonstrates his remarkable versatility and willingness to adapt to contemporary R&B trends.
