Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by Janita Haan's powerhouse vocals and Alan Shacklock's biting guitar work, this eclectic debut merges heavy progressive rock with a distinctively funky rhythm section. The LP is perhaps best known for 'The Mexican', a driving fusion track interpolating Ennio Morricone that later became an foundational breakbeat in early hip-hop culture. It remains a uniquely energetic and hard-hitting artifact of the British prog scene.
