Album Notes & Community Reviews

This landmark Brazilian hip-hop release draws heavily on Afro-Brazilian religions, particularly Candomblé, to explore themes of racial identity, marginalization, and spiritual conflict. The conscious lyricism is delivered over aggressive trap beats intertwined with traditional samba elements, marking a vital moment in the contemporary northeastern rap scene. It catapulted the Bahian rapper to national prominence through its anxious, political urgency.
