Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting the original, legendary lineup and signing unexpectedly to Madonna's Maverick label, 'God of Love' attempts a highly polished, heavily produced take on Bad Brains' signature sound. The album aggressively mixes deeply spiritual, reggae-influenced grooves with the abrasive riffing of 90s alternative metal. While highly polarizing among hardcore purists due to its slick production, it stands as a fascinating late-career experiment.
