Album Notes & Community Reviews
'I Against I' represents a pivotal shift for the D.C. pioneers, moving away from pure speed toward a sophisticated blend of hardcore punk and heavy metal. The record is defined by H.R.鈥檚 versatile vocal performance and Dr. Know鈥檚 intricate guitar work, incorporating elements of funk and soul. It remains a foundational text for the development of alternative metal and post-hardcore.
