Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Ric Ocasek, 'Rock for Light' captures Bad Brains refining their impossibly fast, hyper-aggressive hardcore punk while seamlessly integrating deeply spiritual roots reggae tracks. H.R.'s manic, acrobatic vocal delivery channels fierce political anger and passionate Rastafarian devotion over an incredibly tight, heavy rhythm section. It is a wildly energetic, highly influential milestone that perfectly demonstrates the band's unparalleled versatility.
