Album Notes & Community Reviews

Surprise-released on Christmas Eve, the highly anticipated debut studio album from the Puerto Rican superstar completely transformed the landscape of modern Latin pop. Moving far beyond standard reggaetón tropes, the incredibly diverse record incorporates elements of pop-punk, 80s synth-pop, and deeply melancholic, introspective alternative R&B. It achieved monumental global success and firmly established him as one of the most innovative and dominant artists of his generation.
