Album Notes & Community Reviews

Plagued by internal friction and physical exhaustion, this release ultimately marked the end of the legendary rock group's original, classic lineup. While 'Rough Diamonds' still showcases Paul Rodgers' commanding vocal presence, the overall delivery reflects a band struggling to maintain momentum against changing musical tides. It concluded a dominant run of multi-platinum arena rock successes that defined the previous decade.
