Album Notes & Community Reviews

Leaning even further into bombastic theatricality, the British extreme metal eccentrics presented an overwhelmingly dense fantasy concept album. 'Battle Magic' heavily utilizes sweeping, cinematic keyboard orchestrations and Byron Roberts' unhinged, narrative spoken-word passages, operating more akin to an extreme metal soundtrack for sword-and-sorcery literature.
