Album Notes & Community Reviews

Immersed entirely in vocalist Byron Roberts' sprawling, pulp-fantasy mythology, this sophomore release expands Bal-Sagoth's symphonic ambitions. The record weaves dense keyboard orchestration and dramatic spoken-word passages over a foundation of melodic black metal, culminating in a highly theatrical, bombastic sound.
