Album Notes & Community Reviews
Formed by former Buffalo guitarist Norman Roue, this formidable Australian blues-rock outfit infused their heavy, driving boogie with dense, spiritually charged lyricism. Highlighted by the incredibly heavy, sliding basslines of Peter Roberts and soaring twin-guitar leads, the album captures a uniquely esoteric, slightly apocalyptic approach to high-volume pub rock. The record remains a highly respected, slightly obscure pillar of 1970s antipodean heavy rock.
