Album Notes & Community Reviews

Barry White solidifies his position as the premier architect of orchestral, romantic soul music with this lush, highly successful release. The album features his trademark deep, spoken-word introductions and sweeping string arrangements layered over smooth, sensual R&B grooves. Propelled by the hit 'It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next to Me', it remains a definitive statement of late-70s quiet storm.
