Biography
Barry White (1944-2003) was an American soul and disco singer, songwriter and producer from Galveston, Texas, raised in Los Angeles. His unmistakable bass-baritone voice, heard on 'Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe' and 'You're the First, the Last, My Everything', fronted the lush orchestral sound he built with *Love Unlimited* and the *Love Unlimited Orchestra*. A writer and producer for others before his own solo breakthrough in 1973, he remained a defining voice of romantic soul until his death.
