Album Notes & Community Reviews

A vibrant, maximalist explosion of early 2000s club culture, 'Rooty' solidified Basement Jaxx's reputation for unpretentious, genre-smashing electronic music. The production effortlessly collides soulful house vocals with gritty UK garage basslines, Latin percussion, and wildly unpredictable pop hooks. It stands as a masterclass in joyous, chaotic dance floor hedonism that refuses to take itself too seriously.
