Recorded at The Panda Studios with producer Sam Pura, the group's third album marks their formal return after reforming in 2014. The material moves toward a more polished and radio-friendly alternative rock sound, emphasizing larger hooks and more consistent melodic structures than their earlier, more volatile works. The album's reissue in 2017 via Fueled By Ramen further signaled the band's transition toward broader commercial appeal.
