Basement

Basement is an English rock band from Ipswich, Suffolk, formed in 2009. The group blends elements of emo, post-hardcore, and 90s-inspired alternative rock. After signing with #Run for Cover Records#, they released their debut album 'I Wish I Could Stay Here' in 2011. Following their second album, 'Colourmeinkindness', the band announced a hiatus in 2012 to focus on personal careers. They reunited in 2014 and subsequently signed with #Fueled by Ramen#, releasing 'Promise Everything' (2016) and 'Beside Myself' (2018). Known for their emotionally charged lyrics and dynamic sound, they have toured with bands like *Pixies* and *Weezer*.
