Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing some of the earliest full-length explorations under his main moniker, 'Raw Trax' is a stark, street-level electronic album by East London producer Anthoney J Hart. Released via Type Recordings, the tracks are a cold, angular depository of pirate-radio-era UK bass, future jungle, and grime. The skeletal production completely decouples classic rave formulas to focus entirely on tightly coiled percussion loops and sub-bass weight, establishing a bleak, modernist template.
