Diablo Guapo

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by the frantic guitar work of David Grubbs, this frenetic record bridges the gap between muscular noise rock and the emerging intricacies of math rock. The rhythm section provides a remarkably tight, complex foundation for the jagged, abrasive instrumentation and anxious vocals. It is a vital evolutionary step in the development of the Louisville post-hardcore scene.
